Lions Club at Centennial Airport

April 2022 Message: Lion Ted Peterson

The Boulder County Fire Emergency Grant Committee is finalizing their report to be sent into LCIF. This is just phase one of our efforts, we still have funds to use from donations we received from clubs and individuals. The district and committee id very appreciable of all who have given to assist in our efforts. I am so proud of all Lions who have Shined the Light of Service, Service from the Heart.

As we finish this year, I hope we finish strong. Membership for the year is sitting at -13. This number can be changed to a positive with membership satisfaction. Ask your members what they would like to see in the new year? Are there any changes that can be made to improve on what the club has been doing? If your club needs help with membership recruiting reach out to the district to assist. We have district members who would love to help your club. Reach out to PDG Donna or anyone on the DG Team.

I apologize for cancelling the Lions training on the 19th as sometimes life just gets in the away of things. The training team is gearing up for training in June. PDG Rick will be announcing details as they come available.

Used Eyeglass Program. On April 9th our district is having a sorting day. See the flier in this newsletter.

The Colorado State Convention is coming up in Canon City on May 13-14 and it kicks off at 2:00 p.m. on the 13th. We will have registration forms and hotel information in this newsletter. Hope to see many of you there showing a strong District 6 C presents.

I will be traveling to all the district conventions if anyone would like to ride along let me know. For Districts 6 NE and 6 SE, I will be driving back after the evening event.

Shine the Light of Service -Service From The Heart,

Lion Ted Peterson,

District Governor 6 C
